Radio is a dad again

0

Goodlyfe crew lead singer Moze Radio ended the year in style after being  blessed with two kids this year. The singer’s muzungu girlfriend Kellen gave birth to a baby girl.

Those who have seen the baby intimated to us that the tot resembles the singer so much it is almost eerie.  Moze already has three kids each from a different mum; the eldest being two years, another being 1year and half from girlfriend Sheila and the third one from fellow singer Lillian Mbabazi of Blu3 who was born in three months ago.

We have learnt that the singer is planning to throw a small party this week in celebration of the new arrival at their Makindye based Neverland base.

Bobi, Chameleone Show Details Leaks

0

Our paps who sneaked to the rehearsals of the forthcoming Bobi and Chameleone concert code named 10 year music revolution reveal that the two musicians have decided to surprise their fans and revelers for the forthcoming show whereby each will perform the other’s 10 songs. Meanwhile, this new project has already rankled Singer Bebe Cool who
had started mending his relationship with Chameleone.

So far word reaching us from Bebe Cool camp alleges that the main gist of this concert is not music revolution but Chameleone has failed to come up with a new album for 2011 to meet his usual January launch.  It has been a norm that every early January Chameleone launches a new album but this time he ended the year without some new hits  except the two duets he has with the upcoming musician Papa Cidy. Meanwhile we don’t know whether Chameleone will take that notion lightly so just watch the space

Thieves Concerned About Safety Of People’s Property This Festive Season

Ugandan Thieves

The bandit community in Uganda has today launched a charity campaign named “Yes we can steal” to sensitize and help the general population in the safe keeping of their property. In his opening speech, the Head Thief called upon everyone to be extra vigilant this festive season or risk losing their property to evil people. He asked whoever was willing to bring their property to them for safe keeping to act immediately.

“In fact, you don’t have to bring your property to us. Wherever it is, we shall find it and keep it for you,” said the head thief. “Alternatively, you could just place it somewhere you know we shall find it. Like you can leave your laptop in your car in the parking lot; we shall come for it and keep it for you at no cost whatsoever. People are evil out there I tell you. Especially during this time.”

He also said that even those unwilling to have their property kept for them would be helped anyway. “That’s how much we care for you. And for the sake of security, we maintain a high code for secrecy. Not even the police will know where we’ve kept your stuff. You won’t know who took it or how it was taken. You might even never get it back. Just know wherever it is, it will be safe.”

He reminded all present that his people dealt mostly in expensive property because it hurt them to see someone carelessly owning something expensive yet the very generous thieves could keep it for them for free. “It’s not safe for you to park your expensive car just there idle and disorderly. We shall keep it for you and hopefully you’ll buy a cheaper one, which is a safer option.”

Our paps reveal that former Karaoke dancer turned musician Sheeba Karungi is seriously playing not one but two leading local artistes. The identities of these singers won’t be revealed because they are both engaged to other women.

Our paps smoked out the cheating couple last week checking in a lodge in Namasuba. Later she was also spotted with the other singer at a top city hang out.

Many people were wondering about the whereabouts of former managing director of the Namuwongo based Monitor publications Conrad Nkutu.

Paps reveal that the former top media boss now owns a new televisual company called Fast Track Agency which will be shooting investigative TV documentaries, serial soaps, sitcoms, telefilms and drama.

An insider has intimated to us that the company has the potential to give former CNN Ugandan correspondent Bart Kakooza’s Media-plus company a run for their money. We have so far learnt that the company has already sealed a deal with NTV and MTN for a new local Soap series titled Hostel which will soon be airing on NTV.

We hear the former print media boss has hired the most talented personalities in the media circles and entertainment industry.

Former Klear Kut member Abba aka Langman was smoked out last week with a sexy babe who is definitely not his official girlfriend having a blast at the industrial area based night spot Club T1.

Langman who lives in Italy with his wife betty and kids is now back into the country for the Christmas holiday and seems bent on having as many girls as possible in the shortest time possible.

The former hip-hop singer was in the company of former singing partner Navio but was seen trying to hook up with several other girls even if he already had one for the night. Langman and his catch left the club hand in hand probably heading to the rapper’s hotel.

Monday Massacres: Santa Claus Drops Hot Ho song

0

Fresh from a successful trip around the world spreading love and good cheer, Santa Claus was approached by our very own HipHap Evangelists, the same guys that convinced our Head of State to drop something.

After hours of negotiation, raised voices, flailing tempers, sweaty palms and a bit of shaking down, an agreement was reached. Santa was ready to take on Fiddy cent and all those guys with bulging muscles who rule the industry. When penning the lyrics, he chose to draw from recent experience seeing as he had just been around the world, giving ho’s to everyone in sight. Presenting, (drumroll, excitement, smoke, clouds, thunder, drummer-boy-groping-stage-girl), the one, the only, like you’ve never heard him before, Gangsta Santa aka G-Sant.

Yo yo yo yo
(chorus)
I dropped  ho’s (background vocalists repeat: ho’s) X 2
In different area codes
I said I dropped ho’s (ho’s)
In different area codes

I come out only during this ho-liday
Dropping ho’s ‘n gifts like they are the neighborhood dope, man
You checkin up the scene, I’m dropping a ho tonight
Yo ho-rizontal, I’m vertical all night
Dropping gifts from my big ass sack
Swinging this sleigh like I’m no jerk

I dropped  ho’s (ho’s) X 2
In different area codes
I said I dropped ho’s (ho’s)
In different area codes

Is it cuz you like my santa walk? (santa walk)
Is it cuz you like my santa talk? (santa talk..ohh)
Is it cuz you like my santa sleigh? (santa sleigh….)
Is it cuz you like my santa ways? (santa  ways..ohh)
Whatever it is, you love it
And you just won’t let me be
But hey, that’s g
I’ll be at yours, sliding down your chimney (chimney…wink wink)
And if you’ve been good, I’ll drop you something
If you have no chimney, hey, you get nothing

I dropped  ho’s (ho’s) X 2
In different area codes
I said I dropped ho’s (ho’s)
In different area codes (repeat till fade)

Kass-Kass To Become Dad

0

Those who were fans of the Boyz In September music group might not get any chance again to see the two musicians perform together again at any show in Kampala.

Word reaching us from Stockholm Sweden has it that singer Kass-Kass is likely not to come back to Uganda after getting hooked to the Sweden-born Ugandan girl only identified as Mable Musisi who is six month pregnant with the singer’s kid.

Mabel used to come for short holidays in Kampala and later she hooked up with Kass-Kass after breaking up with Singer Vampos following his hook up with Lydia another Sweden based Ugandan girl. Apparently Kass-Kass has already got his Swedish citizenship and won’t be returning to Kampala any time soon.

We hear his partner Big Snake is very confused and trying to find a way of picking up the pieces of his career alone. Mable is daughter to veteran Ugandan singer Fred Semwogere one of the first batch of Ugandans who fled to Sweden in the 80s with the likes of Philly Lutaya, Hope Mukasa, Frank Mbalire and Nadibanga.

GNL Drops Hot Album

0

Uganda’s biggest and most talented Hip-hop artiste GNL Zamba aka Ernest Nsimbi through his Baboon Forest Entertainment management officially released his Speaking Vernacular album last Monday at Club Rouge.

The 14tracks album which offers different music genres has definitely raised the bar for the local music to impossible heights. Speaking Vernacular is the singer’s second album and might even outdo his successful first album Koi Koi which was released in 2008.

Some of the songs off the album like Wuuba akatambala, Kwata essimu yo(message),Teri Aluleeta and Machozi duet with the Goodlyfe are already rocking local charts.
